Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban Finally Enter Marriage Zone
by Tashi Singh
The Post Chronicle
Apr 3, 2006

Oscar winner Nicole Kidman looks happier than ever, and seems to have embraced the life of country lady to boyfriend Keith Urban.  She's also become his biggest fan.
When Kidman's country rocker honey kicked off a surprise gig at Nashville's Lipscomb University last month, Kidman was "just cheering like a fan," a concertgoer told PEOPLE in the latest issue.

The Aussies pair, both 38, have become a regular sight around Nashville; visiting the Grand Ole Opry, hanging out at Urban's posh mansion, and partying with neighbor LeAnn Rimes.  Kidman flashes a huge diamond ring with great flair everywhere they go, but engagement ring or not, the couple still won't say.  However, the red-haired beauty has been wearing it on her "we're getting married" finger for months.

Friends close to the couple do believe they have found true love with each other and say, "They seem great together.  Real love just happens.  You don't plan it.  And that's what happened with them.  They fell in love."

Kidman has recently been told she will be granted an annulment of her marriage to Tom Cruise, allowing her to remarry in a Catholic Church, reports UPI.

Kidman's family has held discussions with a Catholic priest about arrangements for a wedding to fellow Australian, country singer Keith Urban, a source told the Melbourne Herald Sun.

Since the Catholic Church does not allow divorcees to remarry, but it is believed Kidman was told she would be granted an annulment because her marriage to Cruise did not conform to the requirements of the church.

A spokeswoman for Kidman called the rumors "nonsense." As far as she knew, the publicist said, Kidman and Urban are not engaged and are not planning a wedding.

The lovebirds turned up together in the front row at February's Grammys (their first event as an official "couple", and spoke with Barbara Walters at a Vanity Fair post-Oscar party.

The gossip-sphere is simply buzzing about when the two will set a wedding date, and it seems all that's left are the invitations.

"They're perfect together," says a Nashville source.  "I think they'll definitely get married."
